Bank of Maldives has supported the development of a sensory classroom named “IWonder” at Aminiya School, benefiting more than 170 students enrolled in special education (SEN) classes.
The classroom was designed to provide a supportive learning environment, with the Bank funding essential equipment, maintenance, and specialized features tailored to students’ developmental needs.
BML has a strong track record of supporting inclusive education, previously assisting in the development of SEN classrooms at Imaduddin School, Hiriya School, Salahuddin School, Veymandoo School, and Gaafaru School.
In recent years, the Bank has also donated equipment to SEN programs in 40 schools nationwide, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening inclusive education and supporting students with special needs.
