Dhiraagu has held a special ceremony to honor and recognize the accomplishments of its employees.

The company stated that the event was organized to celebrate the diligence and talent of the staff members who are the driving force behind Dhiraagu's growth and success. This annual award ceremony is a long-standing tradition at Dhiraagu, aimed at acknowledging long-serving employees and those who have demonstrated exemplary performance in the workplace.

According to Dhiraagu, the ceremony serves to strengthen bonds among staff, foster a culture of mutual support, and inspire a spirit of excellence. The event was attended by the Chief Executive of the Communications Authority of Maldives, Ilyas Ahmed, Dhiraagu’s CEO and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed, as well as the company's Board of Directors, senior management, and a large number of employees.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to 87 employees in recognition of their long service and significant achievements.

The company noted that 53 employees were honored for their service milestones of 10, 15, and 25 years. Additionally, awards were presented to 34 employees who made exceptional contributions to the company's success over the past year.

The categories included two Outstanding Leaders Awards, 14 Divisional Merit Awards, 10 Special Merit Awards, and Innovation Awards presented to eight employees across three different projects.

The most prestigious accolade of the night, the 'Chairperson’s Award', was won by Halaf Mohamed Nafiz from Consumer Services. Dhiraagu highlighted that Halaf, who entered the workforce through the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program, has become a remarkably diligent and results-driven employee.

"Halaf played a pivotal role in responding swiftly to market needs by envisioning and establishing a platform to accelerate these efforts, which has subsequently brought additional benefits to the company," Dhiraagu stated.
