The government has opened applications for the “Binveriya” special scheme under its housing project.

The Ministry of Housing announced that applications can be submitted through the housing portal starting at 11:00 am until 11:59 pm on April 30.

The scheme was originally introduced to allocate land to owners who jointly applied and agreed to give up their land. Under the updated policy, individuals who previously received flats but were unable to apply for land are now also eligible.

Plots of 1,250 square feet will be leased from Rasmale’ under the scheme.

The main eligible groups include applicants who previously applied jointly and received land, as well as those who received flats under earlier housing programmes but missed out on land allocation.
