Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and Al-Asr have launched Quran classes in Hulhumale’, with 103 children enrolled in the program.

The initiative is conducted under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two parties in September 2019 to provide religious education in the area. Registration, which opened in February, has now been completed, with participants aged between 7 and 10.

Classes will be held in separate sessions for boys and girls across different mosques in Hulhumale’, with teachers appointed by Al-Asr.

The program aligns with calls to expand access to free Quran education and reflects ongoing efforts to benefit the community. HDC stated that it plans to introduce more such initiatives in the future.
