Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has started handing over land plots to recipients in Hulhumalé Phase 3 under the government’s land scheme.

HDC said that out of 1,408 plots allocated, 709 plots in Phase 2 have already been handed over under the first stage. Work has now begun to distribute the remaining plots, with 11 recipients receiving their land at a ceremony held yesterday.

The corporation aims to continue handing over plots daily and complete the process as quickly as possible under the second stage.
