The Ministry of Tourism has reopened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids for the branding work of the "Visit Maldives Year 2027" initiative.

The initial announcement seeking parties to undertake the branding for "Visit Maldives Year 2027" was made on February 10th.

In an announcement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Tourism stated that interested parties must submit information demonstrating their capability to perform the work, as specified in the Terms of Reference, information sheet, and bid document.

An information session regarding the project is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, the 24th of this month, at the Ministry.

The deadline for bid submission is 10:00 AM on the 5th of next month, with the bids scheduled to be opened at 10:05 AM on the same day. The Ministry specified that bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the project name, the scheduled opening date and time, and the bidder's name, email address, and contact number.

The Ministry further noted that the bid validity period must be 90 days from the date of submission.

"Visit Maldives Year 2027" is an initiative announced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu in his Presidential Address.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, "Visit Maldives Year 2027" will be celebrated by highlighting the Maldivian lifestyle, local cuisine, and ancestral stories. The campaign will also showcase the unique features and significance of various islands across the Maldives to tourists.
