The People’s Majlis has today granted approval for the appointment of non-resident ambassadors to three different countries.

Following the submission by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu for parliamentary consent, the Majlis approved the appointment of Mohamed Hussain Shareef of M. Kothanmaage, Ahmed Sareer of M. West Side, and Aminath Shabeena of H. Misty Lodge as non-resident ambassadors.

Among these appointments, Mohamed Hussain Shareef, who currently serves as the Maldivian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, is set to be appointed as the non-resident ambassador to Armenia.

Ahmed Sareer, the current Maldivian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, is designated as the non-resident ambassador to Oman. Meanwhile, Aminath Shabeena is scheduled to be appointed as the non-resident ambassador to both Serbia and Malta.
