The Elections Commission (EC) has opened the opportunity for complaints regarding the 2026 Local Council Elections and Women’s Development Committee Elections.

In an announcement issued yesterday, the EC said the voters’ register for the elections scheduled on Saturday, April 4, along with the general voter ballot 2026, has been publicized. Complaints regarding the registry can be submitted until 1:30 pm tomorrow.

Voters can check their registration details on the Commission’s website, via SMS by sending their ID number to 1414, or through the EC’s online registration portal. Complaints can be submitted online through the Commission’s main portal.

The EC stated that complaints will only be accepted regarding information in the voter registration list.

Voting for the 2026 Local Council and Women’s Development Committee Elections will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 4.
