The Maumoon Foundation, established by former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, held its first Ihya Forum of the year last night.

The forum, held at the Islamic Centre, featured a keynote address by former President Maumoon. His discourse focused on the theme "Ramadan: A Month of Worship and Felicity."

In addition to President Maumoon, Dr. Saudulla Ali also addressed the participants during last night's forum.

According to a statement issued by the Maumoon Foundation, subsequent sessions of the Ihya Forum are scheduled for March 3rd, 10th, and 17th. These sessions will take place every Tuesday night throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The tradition of conducting Ihya Forums during Ramadan was initiated during President Maumoon’s tenure. Following his presidency, he has continued to organize these forums annually during the fasting month.

The foundation has announced that these sessions are open to all interested members of the public.
