The Maldives Police Service has launched a search operation following reports of a missing person in Malé.

The individual being sought is Ibrahim Imthiyaz Ali, 30, of H. Favouritevilla, Malé.

According to the police tonight, family members last saw Imthiyaz at home on the 13th of this month between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. The family reported him missing at approximately 5:15 PM on the 17th, stating that there has been no contact since he left the house on the day he was last seen.

Upon receiving the report, the police shared the individual's details with all relevant departments and commenced a search. However, efforts to locate him have thus far been unsuccessful.

The police have requested anyone with information regarding Ibrahim Imthiyaz Ali’s whereabouts to contact the Henveiru Police Station at 9400053 or the police hotline at 3322111.
