The Hulhumalé outlet of STO People's Choice has been officially inaugurated.
The outlet was opened by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed, during a special ceremony held last night.
According to STO, with the continuous growth of the population in Hulhumalé, the absence of an STO presence in the area has been a long-standing concern for many residents. Consequently, this new outlet will ensure that STO products are easily accessible to the people living in Hulhumalé.
"Furthermore, for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, this outlet will stock all 23 items that were recently added to the essential food list, in addition to rice, sugar, and flour. Products from brands imported and sold by STO will be available at the Hulhumalé outlet, consistent with the STO People's Choice in Malé. In addition to these items, home improvement appliances from renowned brands such as Hitachi, LG, and Philips will also be available at this location," STO stated.
The company further noted that all items designated as essential food products will be available for retail purchase at this outlet. STO also revealed that arrangements to provide these items at wholesale rates to businesses operating in Hulhumalé will be established in the near future.
While the opening of this outlet coincides with the month of Ramadan, STO confirmed that the facility will continue its operations to serve the public permanently.
The shop is located on Reethigas Magu in Hulhumalé (Rain Coral Residence). This is the road leading towards Central Park, situated next to Asters as you enter Hulhumalé from the bridge.
