Traffic arrangements have changed at Velana International Airport following the start of domestic flight operations from the former Terminal 2.

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), which manages the airport, announced the changes after relocating domestic operations to Terminal 2, previously used as the international terminal.

Under the new arrangements, vehicles dropping off passengers for domestic flights must stop in front of the old international terminal. Vehicles are no longer allowed to stop or unload passengers in the area previously used as the domestic terminal.

Passengers arriving on domestic flights will now need to queue for taxis at Terminal 1, the new terminal building.

MACL confirmed that there are no changes to the airport bus route despite the updated traffic flow.
