Domestic flight services at Velana International Airport will be relocated to the Old International Terminal starting tomorrow.
An official from Maldives Airports Company Limited confirmed that necessary arrangements have been completed to facilitate the move. With the shift, the current domestic terminal will be closed.
The airport’s new international terminal was opened on July 26, 2025, and has been serving international airlines since.
Domestic flights in the Maldives are operated by Maldivian, Manta Air and Villa Air.
