Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM) has opened its annual Ramadan campaign to support vulnerable expatriate workers in Malé and Hulhumalé.

This year, the organization aims to provide iftar meals to more than 15,000 migrant workers through its “Donate a Meal, Help a Life” campaign. Donors can contribute MVR 60 per meal pack to take part. Last year, the program successfully assisted a large number of expatriates.

MMWM stated that many migrant workers in the Maldives earn low wages and struggle to afford sufficient food during Ramadan. Since 2021, the organization has distributed more than 51,000 meal packs to those in need.

Donors can send the payment slip via Viber or WhatsApp to 7396696 after making deposits.

The initiative offers the public an opportunity to support vulnerable members of the community and gain blessings during the holy month of Ramadan.
