Seaplane operations to AA. Thoddhoo have officially commenced today, marking the start of a long-awaited service to the island.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had pledged to introduce seaplane services during his visit to Thoddhoo on August 20, 2025. The launch of operations fulfills that commitment.

An official from Maldivian confirmed that seaplane flights to Thoddhoo will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays.

A one-way ticket for the seaplane service is priced at MVR 799.
