Noorban Fahmy has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of the Maldives Securities Depository (MSD).

In addition to this role, Noorban has also been appointed as the Chief Strategy Officer of the Maldives Stock Exchange (MSE).

According to the MSE, these appointments became effective on the 1st of last month.

Noorban has a distinguished career spanning over seven years in various senior positions within both institutions. Her previous roles include Chief Operating Officer, Legal Counsel, and Company Secretary.

Noorban holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Bristol and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from SOAS University of London.
