Rescue services have been mobilized to bring a man on a fishing boat to Male’ City after a fishing hook caught his eye.

MNDF said that the incident took place on a fishing vessel named “Dhiraasaa” from Faafu Atoll Feeali and while fishing about 111 nautical miles west of Alif Dhaalu Mandhoo.

The injury to the 57-year-old local man was reported at 9:47 a.m. this morning.
