Maldivian is set to introduce scheduled seaplane services to AA. Thoddoo.
The national airline announced today that the inaugural flight for this service is scheduled for the 12th of next month.
Flights are planned to operate twice weekly, specifically on Thursdays and Saturdays. Maldivian further disclosed that a one-way ticket will be priced at MVR 799.
"This service has been introduced to strengthen connectivity between islands, aligning with the government's ongoing efforts toward regional development. The enhancement of the air transport network will foster closer ties within the island community and bring further advancement to the tourism industry," Maldivian stated.
The airline also noted that the introduction of scheduled seaplane services is expected to benefit local guesthouse operators and small businesses, while paving the way for significant growth in the tourism sector.
