The national airline, Maldivian, has announced that it will resume flights to Dhaka, Bangladesh, starting from March 12.

According to the airline, flights to Dhaka will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with ticket prices starting from USD 399. Passengers on these flights will be entitled to a baggage allowance of 30 kilograms and will also be provided with in-flight meals.

Maldivian has already opened bookings for the Dhaka route, allowing passengers to purchase tickets in advance.

To mark the resumption of flights, Maldivian has also announced a music festival titled “Dhaka We Heard You,” which will be held on the 9th of this month.
