The Maldives Culture and Food Festival has been organised to celebrate the beginning of the new year.

The event is being held by Visit Maldives in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourismand Environment and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). It will run for three days, starting from tomorrow until the 1st of next month.

The festival is scheduled to take place at Hulhumalé Central Park and will feature a range of cultural and entertainment activities for the public.

To mark the start of the new year, the festival will include drone displays and live performances. Popular groups, including 1438, are also set to perform during the event.
