An individual has been arrested on suspicion of threatening police officers and grabbing one by the neck.

The person arrested in connection with this case is Ali Shaahim, 27, from Nooru, Hdh. Nolhivaranfaru.

He was apprehended in a case involving the obstruction of police duties, and the Criminal Court yesterday remanded him for 15 days.

According to the remand order, the suspect confronted police officers who were present at a scene, issued threats, and physically assaulted an officer by grabbing them by the neck. However, he denied these allegations during the court proceedings.

The remand order further indicates that the individual has a prior criminal record.
