President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have departed on an unofficial visit to Singapore today.

The President's Office has not provided any further details regarding this visit.

This marks the President's fifth non-official visit to Singapore since assuming office. His most recent visit to Singapore was on July 31st of last year. Following that trip, the President and First Lady returned to the Maldives on August 5th.

The President's first non-official visit to Singapore after taking office was on March 22nd of last year. After concluding that trip, the President and First Lady returned to the Maldives on March 24th.

Subsequently, the President and First Lady also visited Singapore on May 1st of last year. They returned to the Maldives on May 5th after concluding that trip.

The President and First Lady also made a non-official visit to Singapore on August 27th of last year.

Furthermore, President Muizzu had also traveled to Singapore on October 30, 2023, on a family trip, prior to taking the oath of office. He returned to the Maldives on November 4, 2023, after that trip.
