Bank of Maldives (BML) has welcomed a new group of interns under its annual internship program at a special ceremony.

This year, the Bank accepted 25 interns, including graduate interns and Techstart interns. Techstart is a newly introduced category aimed at IT students, providing them with specialized opportunities in the technology field.

The 12-month internship program offers participants hands-on experience across various business units and branches of the Bank, along with a monthly allowance.

During the ceremony, BML also recognized interns who graduated from the 2024 internship program. Some of these graduates were offered permanent positions at the Bank.

The BML Internship Program was launched in 2018 and has supported a total of 77 interns to date.
