The Dhuvaafaru Police Station in R. Atoll has officially commenced its operational activities.

The operational work of the Dhuvaafaru Police Station was formally inaugurated today by the Minister of Homeland Security, Ali Ihusaan, during a ceremony held as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's visit to Dhuvaafaru.

The ceremony was attended by Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen, Managing Director of MTCC Ahmed Saudhee, members of the Dhuvaafaru Council, and other senior government officials.

Under this project, which has been entrusted to MTCC, the scope of work includes the construction of a perimeter wall for the Dhuvaafaru Police Station, an office building, a detention facility for inmates, and a garage. MTCC was awarded the project for MVR 36.03 million, with a completion and handover period of 360 days.
