The Ministry of Finance and Planning has opened applications for a consultancy to prepare a feasibility study and develop the Rasmalé Transport Master Plan.

The announcement, published in the government gazette at the request of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, states that the project aims to design a safe, reliable and sustainable transport system linking Malé and Rasmalé.

Firms submitting an Expression of Interest must provide evidence of relevant technical experience, along with personnel details demonstrating the skills needed to carry out the assignment. The consultant will be selected under the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method outlined in the State Finance Regulation.

Applications are open until November 24, the ministry said.
