Two people have been arrested with a sword and three knives along with other dangerous weapons in Maradhoo, Addu City.

Police Media said that they arrested two men of the ages 18 and 23.

The arrest was made with a court order in a special operation where a residential house in Maradhoo following a report about carrying weapons that came in at 11:30 a.m. today.

Items found in the search are:

  • 1 sword
  • 3 knives
  • 1 blade
  • 1 syringe
  • 1 pocket knife
  • 1 mask
  • 6 packets of suspected drugs

Police said that they are investigating the case further.
