President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to meet with the residents of Henveiru tomorrow night, as part of the ongoing series of meetings he is holding with the people of Malé.
In a post on X today, Spokesperson Heena Waleed stated that the President's meeting with Henveiru residents is scheduled for tomorrow night at 8:30 PM at Kalaafaanu School.
"Therefore, all residents living in Henveiru are invited to attend this meeting," Heena stated.
The President had previously announced his intention to begin meeting with the residents of Malé at a ceremony held at the Social Centre on the 17th of last month, commemorating two years since the government assumed office.
In line with this, the President has, to date, met with the residents of Vilimalé, Machangoalhi, and Maafannu.
The President stated that these meetings are planned to discuss how the development of Malé's districts will proceed, and to engage with residents of Malé and those residing in the city, focusing on Malé's districts. He also mentioned that during these meetings, discussions would be held with the residents of Malé's four districts, Vilimalé, and the two phases of Hulhumalé.
During his first two years in office, the President has visited all islands of the Maldives and met with their residents. These trips also included meetings with all councils and Women's Development Committees (WDCs).
