As part of the project to expand Maldivian passport services to various parts of the Maldives, passport services have been launched in Th. Guraidhoo.

Immigration stated that passport services were introduced in Guraidhoo last night.

"Accordingly, passport services are now available in three islands of Th. Atoll, including Vilufushi and Veymandoo," Immigration said.

Expanding ID card and passport services nationwide is a pledge by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Under this pledge, the work to expand these services across the Maldives was inaugurated on November 16, 2024.

The government has decided to arrange for these services to be available in at least one island from each atoll.
