Two individuals engaged in prostitution have been arrested in GDh. Thinadhoo.

Police reported that, acting on information regarding prostitution in Thinadhoo, an operation was carried out around 11:30 PM last night. During this operation, a house in Thinadhoo was searched, and a 52-year-old Maldivian man and a 39-year-old Thai woman were arrested.

Police stated that both individuals were arrested at the crime scene while engaging in illicit acts.

Police added that when the two individuals were presented to court to determine their remand, the man was released on bail.

The woman, however, has been remanded for four days.

Police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
