President Dr Mohamed Muizzu is continuing his series of meetings with residents of Malé City as part of his pledge to engage closely with communities and discuss local development.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Heena Waleed, the President was scheduled to meet with the residents of Mahchangolhi last night at 8:30 p.m. at Aminiya School. She invited all Mahchangolhi residents to take part in the gathering.

The President had earlier announced the start of these community meetings during an event held to commemorate the second anniversary of his administration. The initiative aims to give residents of Malé, Vilimalé, and Hulhumalé an opportunity to share their views and concerns directly with the President.

President Dr Muizzu met with the people of Vilimalé on the previous night, where discussions focused on development priorities. He is expected to continue similar meetings across Malé City.

Over the past two years, President Dr Muizzu has visited every island in the Maldives, meeting with local communities and holding discussions with councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs). The administration has highlighted these visits as part of its commitment to inclusive, people-centred governance.
