Judge Mohamed Faisal has resigned from his position as a judge of the High Court of the Maldives.

Following his resignation, the High Court has, in its name, expressed gratitude for the valuable services rendered by Judge Faisal during his tenure.

Judge Mohamed Faisal was temporarily entrusted with the administration of the High Court from March 19, 2025, to November 19, 2025.

Among the positions previously held by Judge Mohamed Faisal are Member of the Judicial Service Commission and Vice President of the same commission. Additionally, he has practiced as a lawyer, representing clients in the courts of the Maldives.

Faisal is a graduate of the Kulliyyah of Islamic Studies, having completed his higher education in Shari'ah and Law.

He was sworn in as a High Court judge on July 24, 2018.
