The national airline, Maldivian, has launched a special fare to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.

Maldivian stated that there will be a special flight on the 7th and 9th of next month. A one-way ticket is priced at $99. Additionally, passengers travelling on this fare will be entitled to a 35 kg luggage allowance.

Maldivian commenced direct flights between Male' and the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, on April 25 last year.

The airline operates flights to Sri Lanka every Thursday and Saturday. These flights are operated using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
