A Maldivian man and three foreign women have been arrested in a prostitution case.

Police stated today that they raided and searched "Peace Salon and Spa," operating on the third floor of H. Arihiyaa in Male', and arrested four individuals.

The arrests were made during an operation conducted last Monday in connection with a case involving suspected prostitution and engaging in sexual acts for money, according to the police.

Those arrested in connection with this case are three Thai women and a Maldivian man. They are Mohamed Samam Rasheed (28) of Rively, GA. Villingili, Jumpen Kumbonpitak (38), Patcharida Bannabody (24), and Supawadee Jomtarak (21).

When presented in court for a remand hearing, Samam was remanded for five days, Jumpen and Supawadee for three days, and Patcharida for 30 days.

The police are currently investigating the case.
