A new dollar ATM service has been launched in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Addu City, expanding access to foreign currency services in the southern region.

The service was inaugurated at a special ceremony held in Maradhoo-Feydhoo as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing visit to Fuvahmulah and Addu Atoll.

Bank of Maldives (BML) CEO Mohamed Shareef also attended the ceremony. To mark the inauguration, President Dr Muizzu made a symbolic dollar withdrawal from the new ATM.

The introduction of the dollar ATM service aims to provide greater convenience to residents and businesses in Addu City, supporting financial accessibility and economic activity in the area.
