Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially launched its first dollar ATM service in Fuvahmulah City.

The new service was inaugurated during a special ceremony held at AST as part of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s ongoing visit to Fuvahmulah and Addu Atoll. BML’s Chief Executive Officer, Mohamed Shareef, also attended the event.

To mark the inauguration, President Dr Muizzu made a symbolic dollar withdrawal from the ATM.

The introduction of dollar ATM services in Fuvahmulah aims to improve banking convenience and accessibility for residents, businesses, and travellers, reducing the need to visit other islands for foreign currency transactions.

BML continues to expand its services across the Maldives as part of its efforts to strengthen financial inclusion and provide modern banking solutions throughout the country.
