Ooredoo Maldives has earned a net profit of MVR 180 million in the third quarter of this year.

According to the third quarter financial statements released by Ooredoo, the company earned MVR 549 million during the third quarter. This represents a 1 percent increase compared to the previous period.

Ooredoo's largest revenue came from mobile services. These services generated MVR 404 million, while fixed broadband and enterprise services brought in MVR 143 million.

During this period, the company earned a net profit of MVR 180 million. This is an 8 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

In the third quarter, Ooredoo launched fiber broadband services in B. Thulhaadhoo and HDh. Hanimaadhoo to strengthen and expand digital connectivity.

In addition, like previous years, Ooredoo has conducted the Mas Race (fishing tournament) during this period.
