Island Aviation Services has purchased a large plot of land in Hulhumalé Phase 1 for MVR 49,428,842.20.

The case for the transfer of ownership of this land was submitted to the Civil Court on the 16th of this month.

In the ruling made yesterday by the Civil Court, it was stated that Island Aviation purchased a 12,481.94 square foot plot of land in Hulhumalé Phase 2. Housing Development Corporation (HDC) sold the land to Island Aviation for MVR 49,428,842.20 million.

As Island Aviation has paid and settled the full amount for the land to HDC, the court has ruled that Island Aviation is the owner of the land and concluded the case.
