Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has announced that the second edition of the "Maldives Maritime Conference" will be held in April next year and is now open for sponsors.

The Maldives Maritime Conference is an international conference that brings together international experts, stakeholders, and related parties in the maritime sector to meet, discuss, and exchange ideas on the advancement of the industry.

"The second edition of this conference is scheduled to be held on April 15 next year. This conference will also feature internationally recognized experts in the maritime field as well as local experts as speakers," MPL said.

The main theme of the second edition of the Maldives Maritime Conference is "Security, Safety and Sustainability."

MPL said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Transport, Maldives National Defense Force (Coast Guard), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) have already been confirmed as partners for next year's Maldives Maritime Conference, and that the opportunity to sponsor the conference is now open for interested parties.
