Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded his visit to some of the islands of Haa Alifu Atoll and returned to the capital.

The Vice President made stops at Molhadhoo, Thuraakunu, Ihavandhoo and Maarandhoo on his two-day visit to the atoll.

On his visit, he met with the Island Councils of each respective island and toured the state institutes to inquire the staff about the challenges they face. The Vice President also inaugurated the highs speed ferry service by MTCC between Ihavandhoo and Hoarafushi.

Vice President Naseem promised to work towards addressing the concerns raised by the councils and state institutes.
