Fathimath Aziya Fathee has been appointed as a non-executive board member of Addu International Airport Private Limited (AIA).

The appointment was confirmed by the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) in a post on X today.

Aziya holds a Master’s degree in World Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in China, which she completed in 2022. During her studies, she achieved the highest rank and was awarded the Most Outstanding Student Award. She also received national recognition for attaining the highest academic qualification at Level 7, Level 8 or Level 9 of the National Qualifications Framework.

According to the Economic Ministry’s business portal, AIA’s board comprises five members: Hussain Afeef, Ibrahim Noordeen, Azaan Ahmed Zuhair, Mohamed Waheed Hussain, and Ismail Miuraj. Mohamed Waheed Hussain currently serves as the Managing Director of AIA.
