The Maldives has received 1.7 million tourists so far this year.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism, as of yesterday, 1,743,577 tourists have visited the Maldives.

The statistics show that China remains the top source market for tourists to the Maldives this year as well.

On average, about 5,000 tourists arrive in the Maldives each day. The government's target is to attract two million tourists to the Maldives this year.
