Mohamed Nizam (Nizambe), the coach of Buru Sports Club, has stated that this season's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League won't be easy for any club.

After a break for international matches, the league resumes today. The first match will be between Green Streets and Buru Sports Club this evening.

Currently, Odds Sports Club leads the league table, having won all three of their matches. Maziya Sports & Recreation and New Radiant Sports Club, in third place, have also earned nine points from three matches.

Buru Sports Club is currently in fourth place with four points. Club Green Streets (5th), United Victory (UV) (6th), Victory Sports Club (7th), and Club Valencia (8th) all have three points. Club Eagles in ninth place has one point, while TC Sports Club at the bottom has yet to score.

"This season is proving to be very competitive. All teams will score points. This season won't be easy for any club," Nizambe said.

While Buru is considered a strong team by many, Nizambe said it's too early to list the strong teams.

"It's a bit early to start naming that list. Based on the matches played so far, some teams have only played against bottom teams, and many teams weren't fully prepared, playing without foreign players or coaches," Nizambe said.

Nizambe stated that strong teams can only be identified after the first round, and that Buru is gradually adapting to a good mentality. He mentioned that players need time to develop a "winning mentality" due to the long football break.

Although this was initially a challenge, Nizambe noted that 99% of players attended practices during the recent break, which shows a change in mentality.
