The People's Majlis has today approved the appointment of Masood Imad (M. Thulhaagiri) and Aishath Azeema (M. Binaafushi) as non-resident ambassadors to two countries.

Masood Imad is being appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Mauritius. Azeema is set to be appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador to Kazakhstan.

These appointments were submitted to the Majlis for approval by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Masood is currently serving as the Maldivian Ambassador to Sri Lanka. Azeema is the current Maldivian Ambassador to India.
