The Maldives Meteorological Service (Met Office) has announced today that various parts of the parts of the Maldives will experience rainy weather for the next four days.

An official from the Met Office stated that a large part of the Maldives will experience rain until Friday. They also mentioned that there will be strong winds and rough seas during this period.

The official said that wind speeds are expected to be between 15 and 25 miles per hour until the 20th of this month. The Met Office has predicted that central and southern Maldives will generally experience stronger winds.

Since last Friday, different parts of the Maldives have been experiencing rainy weather. As a result, a Yellow Alert was issued this morning for the area from HA. Atoll to R. Atoll. White alerts have been issued for other atolls.
