Jumhooree Party (JP) Leader and Member of Parliament for Maamigili Constituency, Qasim Ibrahim, has commended President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for demonstrating fairness and inclusivity in appointing individuals to political positions.

Speaking at a gathering held in ADh. Fenfushi during the President’s tour of the southern islands of Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, Qasim highlighted that, unlike previous administrations, President Dr Muizzu’s appointments have not been influenced by political affiliation, personal relationships, or animosity. He noted that such impartiality marks a significant departure from past practices and reflects a genuine commitment to national unity.

Qasim described the President’s approach as one that fosters trust and cooperation across the country, emphasising that his decisions are guided by merit and the broader interests of the Maldivian people.

He also praised President Dr Muizzu’s practice of personally visiting local communities to engage with councils, women’s development committees, and residents, stating that these efforts demonstrate a sincere desire to understand the needs and priorities of the people.

Qasim expressed confidence that the President’s leadership style. defined by fairness, inclusivity, and dedication, will strengthen public confidence in the government and contribute to the country’s continued development.
