President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that a dollar ATM will be established in ADh. Dhangethi before March next year.

The President made this statement while meeting with the residents of Dhangethi today, as the first stop on his current tour of ADh. Atoll. He said that since Dhangethi is an island where local tourism is growing, a dollar ATM will be provided for the island.

"God willing, we will install a dollar ATM on this island before next March," the President said.

President Muizzu has previously instructed BML to install a total of 30 dollar ATMs in urban centers, cities, and islands where local tourism is most prevalent, within the first three months of next year.

Under the President's initiative, BML has been installing rufiyaa ATMs on all islands across the Maldives. According to the President, this work will be completed within next month.
