Police have arrested three people in connection with the assault of a security guard at Fuvahmulah City Airport.

The incident was reported at around 4:05 a.m. on 28 August, when the guard was attacked while attempting to climb over the airport fence.

According to police, the suspects have been remanded in custody for 15 days as investigations continue.
