Masood Imad (M. Thulaagiri) and Aishath Azeema (M. Binaafushi) have been nominated for non-resident ambassador positions to two countries, and their names have been sent to the People's Majlis for approval.

Masood Imad is being appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Mauritius. Azeema is set to be appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador to Kazakhstan.

The President's letter seeking the Majlis' approval for these appointments was read out by the Secretary-General in today's session. The Speaker of the Majlis announced that the matter has been forwarded to the Foreign Relations Committee for further review.

Masood is currently serving as the Maldivian Ambassador to Sri Lanka. Azeema is the current Maldivian Ambassador to India.
