The Vice President noted that the theme of this year's Internal Audit Conference, "The Role of Internal Audit in Accountability and Advancing Public Interest in a Changing Environment," also highlights the unforeseen risks, challenges, and auditing complexities that arise as the world evolves and modernizes with different innovations.
