President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the salaries of all Civil Service employees, Judiciary staff, and Council employees who have not yet received a pay raise through the Pay Harmonization process will increase starting from November 1st.
In a recent post on X, President Muizzu stated that, as mentioned in this year's Presidential Address, the salaries of all Civil Service employees, Judiciary staff, and Council employees who have not yet received a pay raise will increase from November 1st.
"And as I have said before, the salaries of all employees from all institutions that do not receive a raise this year will increase in 2026," the President said.
In his Presidential Address this year, the President had stated that along with Civil Service salaries, the salaries of Council employees and the Judiciary have been scheduled for Pay Harmonization in the third quarter of this year.
The President made this decision in response to concerns expressed by employees working in these sectors.
